Direct Line

Thanks for checking out my iPhone application, Direct Line. Direct Line is intended to help you automatically navigate to a person when you dial customer service numbers. The application includes a list of hundreds of companies that can be dialed by tapping the company name. Once connected, your iPhone will automatically punch the numbers necessary to get you to a person.

Direct Line updates its internal database of companies every time you launch the program, so please send me an email if you have any problems with any of the numbers in the database. These customer service numbers change from time to time, and often require different buttons to be pressed depending on whether you call during business hours or when the company is closed. If you email me with any problems you have, I will work to update the database accordingly. Please send any feedback you have to support@thisistech.com.

The iPhone is an amazing development platform. I am a hobbyist and have found writing applications for the phone to be a simulating challenge. I hope you enjoy the program.

If you have found your way to this page from iTunes or the recent post on TechCrunch, welcome.  I invite you to check out the rest of this blog.  When not developing iPhone applications, I am a technology transactions attorney.  This blog focuses on generally on technology and legal issues.
